The Type Book project was a very challenging experience. This was my first actual graphic
design project and introduction to type. We had to select multiple categories of typefaces to
showcase for the entire book and showcase their classifications. We also were required to
create a theme and choose one accent color.
My theme was inspired by word games, like crosswords. Each typeface has a word I
selected to represent it, as the term matched the energy of the typeface. I explored new ways of
design through this project. Specifically using glyphs as a form of decor on the pages.
